AS AN EDUCATOR, MY EXPOSURE TO THE EXPEDITIONARY LEARNING EXPERIENCE HAS CONFIRMED MY BELIEF IN THE POWER OF RELEVANT CHALLENGES FOLLOWED BY REFLECTIVE PROCESSING. I HOPE TO APPLY THE CONCEPT OF EXPEDITION TO EVERY LESSON PLAN AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE.

Our Twin Cities Center offers hands-on training for educators who strive to incorporate experiential education and social-emotional learning in their work. Highlights of the trip include the fabulous instructors and group, hiking, learning valuable wilderness, technical and leadership skills, challenging myself to be as flexible as possible with changing conditions, sunsets, cookies and a strong sense of community from my peers.
