Connectedness to outdoors, to crew, to self are core to the holistic nature of a VOBS experience. In a post pandemic world, today’s youth often note a lack of connectedness and belonging in the world and to themselves.

Gifts between $1,000-$4,999 create moments for belonging. A sense of belonging builds social, emotional, and physical health.

Recognizing annual gifts from $5,000 - $9,999

Recently, a Voyageur Outward Bound alumnae found herself taking on more challenge, challenge she thought she could never take on. Her instructor told her, “You can do hard things.” And, she did. Gifts between $5,000-$10,000 support a one-of-a-kind curriculum progression that gives students the power to trust in their ability to persevere. Perseverance Circle members’ commitment to the Voyageur Outward Bound School model gives students the perseverance to power their own destiny.

Annual Giving $10,000 - $24,999

Strength is the driving force to progress. Unwavering determination is the fuel of strength. In a world where many youth face mounting challenges, growing the capacity for strength is paramount. Through gifts of $10,000-$24,999, members of the Strength Crew empower students to test their limits and prevail and power through. Students experience first-hand their own strength, strength of character, strength of will, strength to grow. By empowering these moments, youth go out into the world, outward bound, with understanding of their own strength and the strength of togetherness.
