Giving is one of the most powerful principles of all time.
Voyageur Outward Bound School has been changing lives through challenge and discovery in Minnesota for more than 50 years by using the wilderness as a classroom to provide unparalleled opportunities for personal growth, self-reliance, teamwork and compassion.
With the opening of the Twin Cities Center in 2010, Voyageur Outward Bound School along with our partners have been able to greatly increase the reach of our programming for underserved urban youth.
By challenging the students we serve through experiential learning programs, we help students discover their own leadership skills, confidence, and determination that can drastically improve the trajectory of their lives.
Thanks to generous donations from alumni, parents, corporations, foundations, and others, Voyageur Outward Bound School awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to more than 100 students in 2014.
Each year, generous supporters like you celebrate Give to the Max Day by making your online donation on GiveMN.org. Your generosity on this day makes a difference far beyond the 24-hour giving event.
Please join us on November 13, 2014, for Give to the Max Day and help us continue to change lives.
Our goal is to raise $8,500, to support our Scholarship Program and you can help us reach it!
As an organization committed to providing equal opportunities for all of our community members, VOBS recognizes that we cannot do it alone.
For that reason, we are asking for your help! Please consider investing in the future of our students, our community, and our society by contributing to the Voyageur Outward Bound School Scholarship Program.
Choose to donate today, and you will make a great impact – the ripples of which we will all feel for years to come!
Thank you for your support.
Your generous contributions during #GTMD14 are gifts that will endure as we move confidently into 2015 changing lives through challenge and discovery.
